Kia ora, my name is Katherine Findlay
I am a yoga and mindfulness teacher, currently based in Wellington, Aotearoa (New Zealand). I am passionate about living mindfully and helping people live a balanced lifestyle full of happiness and kindness.
I first came to yoga for exercise and flexibility but found it was a great way to manage my stress and switch off from the day. Yoga reminds me to reconnect to my body and breath and I continue to learn so much from teaching and my own practice. Yoga offers connection and flow to my every day both on and off the mat and is a constant journey of learning.
I graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Tourism Management (Hons). Alongside my full-time job, I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 and pursue my teaching part-time alongside my career. I have since completed further training in anatomy and physiology, mindfulness and meditation, yin yoga, yoga nidra and reiki. My passion for helping people find calm and balance has also led me to study professional coaching.
I am also a big fan of wellbeing, travel, coffee, food, photography and am constantly planning my next adventure, even if it is just a wander to the beach!
